Accompanied Deer Stalking Price List ; 2011/2012 Season
All Stalking with us is carried out on an accompanied basis, deer will be either Stalked or taken from large 2/3 man Forestry High Seats. All Guest stalkers must have a valid UK or International FAC & hold their own insurance arrangements which we would require sight of on your arrival. (Minimum calibre to be used on the estate is .243Win).
Outing Cost (flat rate fee) - £80.00 the minimum field time will be 3 hours guaranteed AM or PM.
Duel split Day stalk - AM+PM (on same day) - £150.00 total of 6 hours guaranteed field time.
Outing costs are strictly per person.
Deer are culled strictly within open season for sex/species.
Fallow Deer & other species
Male Spiker Sika/Fallow cull Spike/Prickets & up to small Sorrel Bucks (start of palmation) - 1st cull male or female animal is included within the outing fee, additional male animals are charged at £ 50.00 each.
Mature Large Adult Sika Stags or fully Palmated Fallow Bucks - £350.00 per animal
Fallow Does, Roe Does & small Muntjac are a flat fee of £40.00 per animal
Larger male mature Muntjac culled are a flat fee of £200 per animal.
No Roe Bucks/Red Deer Stags or Hinds are to be shot on the Estate whatsoever unless authorized.
All culled deer will strictly remain the property of Newhouse Venison & Game, they must be taken to the Deer Larder on the Estate after field dressing in order to be checked, tagged & loged.
Wounded lost deer due to poor shot placement will be charged based on the lowest flat fee for the sex/species, we would always do our utmost to try to ensure that all deer are recovered for our Guests with the help of a sutably trained deer dog.
Should you require to check your Rifle we would ask that you make us aware that you need to use the Estate Rifle Range before any planned outing.
Guests are advised that should a multiple target opportunity arise with herded deer that they are to only shoot the target animals picked out by the Estate Stalker that accompanies them on the day.
We also benefit from having a Licensed “Estate Rifle” & ammunition, the Rifle is for the use of suitably experienced guests should they be unable to use their own, this facility has no charge, however we would require prior notice at the time of booking.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Outings cancelled up to 7 days before planned outing there is no charge.
Outings that are cancelled within 7 days of planned outing will incure a flat fee of 25% of the total basic flat booking cost.
Where ever possible we try to ensure that we are totally transparent & clear in respect of these charges for our clients & should you have any questions in respect of this matter then please ask either by phone or email prior to any planned visit.
Overseas guests are asked to pay a 25% deposit of the planned outing costs at the time of thir booking, in addition to which we are able to pickup or drop guests at Heathrow, Gatwick or Eastleigh Airports with prior notice.
With enough notice of any planned future visit to the UK we are able to help with arrangments for a Uk Firearms Permit in order that guests may bring their own rifles with them.
We are also able to Prep/Cut & Shield Mount Heads to your requirement, at a fixed cost of £25.00 each, these can then be forwarded on by post after any successful outing.
(Actual costs for Airport Runs & UK Permits will be variable & must agreed with us directly before your visit).
